Would your organization be willing to help us fund the scholarship program? The people that attend our events are the ones that you want to work with you. We continue to attract people that are inspired to do good for humanity.
My name is John Patterson with Tiny Hemp Houses. I am writing you today to explain what we have been doing for the past four years regarding building with industrial hemp. When I first attended Steve Allin’s Building with Hemp course in Wisconsin I knew I had found something special. Shortly thereafter the industry started to blossom. At that point I had a choice to either build only a few houses a year or I could follow in my mentor's footsteps and educate and inspire others to build with hemp. Now I have travel the globe conducting events and workshops showing people the hempcrete system. We are creating more of these experiences for 2017 and you can become part of our mission. We not only build tiny houses, we connect people. We are all on a powerful mission together and these experiences are unforgettable, inspirational and powerful. “A true life-changing experience!” -Kierra King Scholarship recipient.

Who does the program benefit?
In 2015 I was graciously awarded to learn the fundamentals of building with hempcrete through Tiny Hemp Houses. The takeaway from the education, knowledge and hands-on experience is invaluable and still propels growth within my community and personal growth. John Patterson is a visionary, expert and thorough educator.

I’ve always been a seeker for better solutions, and the ones that get me most excited are those that improve the interactions between humans and this planet. After reading Doug Fine’s Hemp Bound in 2014, my passion for hemp ignited immediately. I moved to the Front Range and sought out the hempsters. Soon I met John Patterson at the Sustainable Living Fair, and got to feel a hempcrete brick for the first time… wow, so strong, just like Doug said! Months passed and then I heard John was teaching another hempcrete building workshop, at a neighbor’s house in Fort Collins - I had to go. John offered me a scholarship, both financially based and work-trade, and the pieces continued to fall into place. Not only was I able to participate in the 3 day workshop learning the ins and outs of hemp construction, but made invaluable connections left and right -. I studied design in college, of both the natural and our built and environment, so this course really tied many things together for me. I’d recommend it to anyone, regardless of your interests. To work as a team, from initial planning to well-deserved hemp lunch breaks to taking a step back and looking at the structure you created with your own hands, the experience is superbly connecting and inspiring.

Mr. John Patterson ,
I've have been meaning to write and express my sincere gratitude for including my business, Natures Rooted Wisdom, LLC another hemp company, with the ability to attend your class last year in Michigan 2016, What a
great experience, we all had!
I believe in the enhancement of educating people who are interested in the Hemp Industry. For all people who are concerned about the future and humanity. There is a need for all to come up to speed in making the necessary changes for the good of all generations to come. Making less of a foot print is important and how we get there is through how we live.
Your class over exceeded my expectations and I want to thank you and your staff for that. It was a great experience and I was able to meet so many others from all over. We were able to form connections as well as gain the
experience of learning how to create and work with a wonder sustainable materials. Together with a common goal.
The scholarship you awarded gave NRW the ability to make further connections, expand my business with likeminded environmental conscience people like ourselves.
Thank you for your generosity from All of us at Natures Rooted Wisdom.
Sincerely
Zoey Dalton, CEO
